High power laser diode driver:


Laser power: 0.5W – 5W

Laser current: up to 4.5A.

Modes: adjustable CW / modulation, chosen by a switch, jumper or external 5V signal

Modulation: Digital TTL (accepts PWM) / Analog 0-5V chosen by a switch, jumper or external 5V signal.

Laser diodes: primarily designed for 405nm, 450nm, 465 and 520nm (and +/-10nm versions)

Modulation bandwidth: up to 10kHz square wave modulation, 20kHz sine wave modulation

Rise time / Fall time: 2us at full power.

Power supply: 12V standard, 7.2V, 5V, 3.6V or any other voltage available,

Modulation input: BNC / header / PCB pads connector,

Cooling: Heat-sink recommended but not necessary in ventilated case,

Dimensions: 5x4cm standard, can be custom made. Holes for M3 mounting screws,

Laser connection: lock-in connector / PCB pads,

Over-current protection circuit prevents spikes and surge currents and prolongs laser diode lifetime,

Reverse diode prevents excessive reverse voltages on laser diode,

EMC protection,

Multi-driver single PCB possible (for e.g. RGB control).
